Notes from this week's podcast: Jo Prays for You

Aug 12, 2025

Let the Word of God sink deep down into your heart.

Jesus is at the right hand interceding for all of us.

"You are just waiting for us to come to You and join with Jesus and Your heart to seek You, Father, with all our heart on our behalf.

I pray right now, Father, that You would reach down with Your righteous right hand and You would put Your right hand on this beloved one, and they would know Your presence, they would sense Your presence, they would know You are all in for them."

God loves us with an everlasting love.

There is nothing that we have done, there is nothing that we will ever do that can separate us from the love of God.

"Lord, I thank You for just the thought that You love us with an everlasting love.

You are the God of all hope.

God, right now, would You give us the grace to take our eyes off of those [things that aren't You will for us] and put our face like flint before You, that we see You as we know You, that we hunger and thirst for righteousness and that we willingly choose not to let the things of this world disrupt Your plans and purpose for us and Your peace for us.

In humility, Lord, we choose to look on the needs of others and consider others more significant than ourselves. Today, Lord, we choose to be Your servant. And, whoever You bring across our path that, in humility, You want us to serve, God give us the grace to do that, that it brings You glory. Lord, we willingly humble ourselves before You."

God says: The suffering of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in You.

God's hand only brings righteousness. He does what is right.

I pray for this home that it would be a sanctuary where at any moment You could knock on their front door and You would be welcomed because they have been waiting for You because You are their special guest.

We have a treasure in this earthen vessel. And the excellency of the power is of God. It's not of us. We may be pressed on every side but we're not crushed. We may be perplexed but we are not in despair. We may be persecuted but we are not forsaken -- struck down, but we are definitely not destroyed because we always bear about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus Christ so that the life of Christ may be manifested in our body.

Today, Father, may we know the life that is in us and rise above whatever we are in the midst of or whatever might come our way and that life be the witness -- it be manifested through our body.

Our life and our identity is in Christ.
