Bible Reading Marathon on the National Day of Prayer

Every year, His Vessel Ministries hosts a Bible Reading Marathon beginning on the National Day of Prayer. By reading God’s Word in public, we pronounce His truth and goodness across our entire city and into the hearts and homes of all!  

This year will be a little different due to the pandemic guidelines for public meetings. We will read the entire Bible, Genesis to Revelation, on one day, Thursday, May 7, 2020, but the readings will be done from each participant’s home instead of from the Capitol. We will assign 15-minute segments of Scripture to be read. It will be different, of course! But we will continue to lift high God’s Word however we can. And we are excited that this will offer special time for families to read God’s Word together in their homes. The purpose of speaking the living Word of God over our city will still be accomplished, and this new format will actually spread that reading all over our state! Sign up opportunities are coming soon, and we cannot wait to see how God will meet us!
