Notes from this week's podcast: Being Part of God's Redemptive Work
God is moving to bring us back to Him.
Why would He linger in bringing a new heaven and new earth? Because of His mercy. Because we are His inheritance. He desires all of us -- all of creation -- to be with Him.
x Romans 8:17
I believe God would say redemption is the greatest need and spiritual awakening is what moves that into action.
Action plan to be part of God's Redemption Team (How we prepare ourselves):
#1 - Offer Yourself to God. Pray Romans 12:1-2 and ask the Lord to direct your steps.
#2 - Be Intentional. Ask God to show you today how to exist for Him and be involved with what is on His heart.
#3 - Obey. Be careful not be focused on our tasts/to-do list but on the prayer we just prayed. (See #2)
The key: My heart must first be established on what is on the heart of God. See the need.
Do you remember the vision from the previous podcast? God can use the lifelines to save those who are drowning and drifting. Get a heart for them.

So, what we do we do next? Get a notebook. On one page, title it "Drowning" for the lost, those who don't know God. One another page, title it "Drifting" for those drifting away from God.
#1 - Write the specific names of those who are drowning that the Holy Spirit brings to your heart.
#2 - Write a specific Scripture to speak out over the list (This is sending out the lifeline.)

#3 - Believe and see that lifeline reaching everyone that you have prayed for
#4 - Pray specifically 1 Corinthians 15:7.
#5 - Praise God out loud - that they are coming to the Lord

And for the drifters...
#1 - Write the names of the drifters and identify the type of drifter.
#2 - Write a Scripture (for each drifter)

#3 - Trust God - Keep your eyes on God, believing Him

#4 - Pray aloud, believing Psalm 18:19
#5 - Praise God

Summary: Know that you exist for God and are a part of His redemptive plan. We are His inheritance. And in God's time of long-suffering, He is redeeming His inheritance to Himself.
