Beautifully United in Prayer

Seeking God in prayer is an immense privilege and joy, and a foundational part of our discipleship work. Every one of us—staff, leaders, and participants alike!—has committed, as God’s vessel, to practice dependence upon Him by seeking His face daily. His Vessel founder Jo Hancock models this and served as one of the prayer leaders for the O.U.R. Montgomery Prayer Gathering event in June.

Standing for One United Reaching, O.U.R. Montgomery is an alliance of churches, houses of worship, ministries, and community agencies seeking a better future for our city together in Christ. Its June 3 community-wide prayer event was held in downtown Montgomery and drew people from many churches and groups. What a blessing it was to unite with other believers and seek God’s covering, guidance, forgiveness, and restoration! God is moving among His people, and we knew you would be encouraged by the news.
