Be a vessel of honor, sanctified, prepared for any work that God has for us.
This is the surrendered life.
To deliver something to someone on His behalf, not that you would be seen, but so that God is glorified -- that it would be done in such a way it would be exactly the way He would do it if He were here on earth, in the physical.
Glory reflects God Himself.
God wants His presence to dwell among us -- He will send us, who are filled with the Holy Spirit that God's countenance rests upon, so that God's presence will minister to another person
* If the Holy Spirit is hand picking you to go and deliver His presence, then be prepared out of a pure heart overflowing with the love of God and the compassion and mercy of God -- just show up.
God used other people as His vessel to hand-deliver God's presence to me so that I could be encouraged, I could have hope, I could get through the hurt.
God wants to use you to hand-deliver that message. You're the vessel that the Word has been imparted to and God wants to use you.
God will use you to deliver encouragement to people through the Word -- to turn people to God that He would be glorified, not the person.
> This is how God shows up, gets His Word, His message, His encouragement, His love out of heaven on earth through that person but to your heart.
(A prayer before you go) God, is there a Word, a Scripture? Lord, my words are empty. God, if this is from You, would you give me a word to share?
God may use you to send a word of direction or alert to someone.
God may want to use you to give a testimony (your story) of what He's done in your life to bring Him glory.
Be humbled and say, "Yes, Lord."
God also uses us to deliver His service to someone else -- to be His hands and feet.
* My friend thanked me but I said, "God, thank You that You chose to interrupt my schedule and handpick me to go be Your hands and feet today so that You could be seen."
We all have a gift. All Christians are gifted that motivates us to serve God.
What is it that God is knocking on your door? He says: "Go be Me today in the life of this person, group, congregation so that others see Me. I'll come in and meet needs. I'll show up. I'll come in and bring My glory."
* We need to get ourselves cleansed -- to get ourselves out of the way so that we're not loaded down and can't go deliver what God wants to do.
* We can be so blinded what's in our own heart that we're not available to deliver on behalf of Father God. He wants to remove the blindness.
Get me humbled, lower, out of the way, that God could use me to be His vessel.
It's for His name's sake that I would be prepared, that when God knocked on the door of my heart and wanted to use me to deliver something, I was ready.
How many opportunities are you missing because you're not ready? Be ready to be His vessel. God can manifest Himself greater. God can show up with His righteousness.
Is that your desire? If so, pray: God, help me be Your vessel of honor, sanctified, set apart just for You. Whoever needs me, here I am!
In my sacrifice of being His vessel, I know that God will make me a better person, but for His glory.
Be grateful for the blood of Jesus that redeemed you from darkness into the light so that you can go be light to bring God's glory. With a grateful heart, we won't be tempted to steal God's glory.
(Closing prayer) God, I'm grateful that You have chosen me to be Your vessel that You can use me to minister to someone else that they know that it was You.
